Multi-Event Familiars were first introduced in God of Steel, PvP Event 16, Phase 1 as the PvP event was split into two events. In each phase you could obtain only one featured tradable Epic Familiar. This lasted until God of Steel, PvP Event 22, Phase 2.
Starting from God of Steel, PvP Event 23, Phase 1 you could obtain one Non-Tradable Dual Skill Rare Familiar as a point reward. Only "one" familiar could be earned in an event, with eight in total to be obtained in eight consecutive events. After World Battle Tournament 7 no new dual skill multi-event familiars were introduced.

Dual Skill Multi-Event Familiars have effectively been replaced by Blood-linked Familiars, which can only be obtained in the Blood Crypt by exchanging Blood Relics. Blood relics are mostly obtained as point rewards and as ranking rewards in events. To fully upgrade a Blood-Linked Familiar, participation in multiple events is required, which is similar to the Dual Skill Multi-Event Familiars.
After the introduction of Blood-linked Familiars there were 2 additional occasions to obtain Multi-Event Familiars.
During the 3rd Anniversary Celebration you had a chance to obtain up to 2
by collecting 3rd Anniversary Celebration Puzzle Pieces in the associated Events.
During the Summer Campaign 2015 you had a chance to obtain
by collecting Helios Coins in the associated Events.
During the Halloween Campaign 2015 you had a chance to obtain
by collecting Coven's Coins in the associated Events.
