The Secret Graveyard are pacts, introduced for the first time on August 8, 2013.
The Secret Graveyard was initially loosely associated with Special Dungeons, with the pacts released on the day or a few days before Special Dungeons starts.
After PvP was split into two phases, the pacts were associated with PvP Phase 1 with the pacts being released on the day the event started.
However after PvP returned to being a single event and following the introduction of World Battle Tournament it became associated with World Battle Tournament, with the pacts released during the event. The familiars introduced are familiars eligible for the realm of that specific event. Starting World Battle Tournament 13, the featured familiar receives a 25% stats boost during the event for being the Hero familiar in the associated World Battle Tournament Event.

There are five graveyards in The Secret Graveyard. Each graveyard contains some graves, where each grave can only be opened once. Each grave contains a certain number of pacts (depending on the graveyard) and one treasure (either an item or a familiar). Each graveyard has a fixed number of items and familiars as treasures. Once you’ve obtained all such familiars in a graveyard, you can advance to the next graveyard even if all the graves have not been opened. If there are any unopened graves in a previous graveyard, you may go back and open them.

- All graves in a given graveyard cost the same amount.
- All treasures you find (familiars and items) will be placed in your Wagon.
- Even after you've unlocked the next graveyard you can go back and open any remaining graves until the end of the pact period.
