Download the program from the official source: Bluestack.com

I suggest you download the win8 optimized version, regardless of your operating system I have found that this works smoother.

If you already have a different version installed, then follow the Uninstallation instructions below. After download, follow the standard installation procedure for the program.

If you want bluestacks to be a bit faster you can go to the Improving Bluestacks Performance part.

Improving Bluestacks Performance

Change the Bluestacks Windowsize
This will increase bluestacks performance.
Shut down Bluestacks following the instructions given above.
Launch Regedit
Press Windows and "R" Button simultaneously.
type regedit and press Enter.
Locate the following two keys
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\FrameBuffer\0\Height
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\FrameBuffer\0\Width
Open the keys and set value to DECIMAL !
Change the decimal value to your liking, keep in mind, a ration of 3:2
Suggested ratio for blood brothers: 900:600 or 750:500 or 600:400
Note that when you have no games installed it is best to set ratio to 1:1
This means you make the Width the same as your preferred Height, after installing a game you can change it back to whatever you like.
Other games might have a different optimal ratio, example Tablet games might need a ratio of 1:2 or 2:3 you will need to play with this yourself so it is to your satisfaction.
Changing amount of memory accessible by Bluestacks.
Locate the following key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\BlueStacks\Guests\Android\Memory
Open the key and set value to DECIMAL !
keep in mind that you NEVER set the value higher then 50% of your physical RAM. 1024 = 1GB of Ram.
Suggested size is 1024, but for systems with less then 4GB of ram leave it at the default setting.
